Undergraduate Research News keeps you informed about opportunities to enhance your USC experience.  You'll be sure to know about resources such as grants to support your faculty-mentored research, professional development workshops designed especially for researchers, and opportunities to share your research or connect with faculty.  No matter where you are in your research journey, URN will have information you need.

Want to submit to Undergraduate Research News?

The Office of Undergraduate Research shares information regarding University of South Carolina programs, events, and resources with student newsletter subscribers based on the following criteria: 

  • Relevance: Content must be specifically tailored and of direct interest to undergraduate researchers. 
  • Actionability: Submissions should feature a clear deadline, event date, or required action item. 
  • Timeliness: Because Undergraduate Research News is published biweekly, materials (including final copy and promotional graphics) must be submitted to our@sc.edu at least three weeks prior to the relevant event or deadline.

Please note that the Office of Undergraduate Research reserves the right to make the final approval of newsletter content.
