Course Description
Introduction to the concepts of vibration and waves presented in a holistic approach including review of damped simple harmonic oscillator; sound waves; vibration and waves in a taut string; axial vibration and waves in a rod; flexural vibration and waves in a beam.Prerequisite: C or better in MATH 241, MATH 242, and EMCH 310.FS: 12/04/2024.
