What to Expect
"A continuing goal of scholar programs is to build and maintain the sense of community that exists in the Carolina Top Scholar community. As members of Scholars United, all Top Scholars have the opportunity to participate in the creation and execution of their own enrichment activities. Scholars United events are entirely planned and led by our Top Scholars, in an effort to organize social, service, and professional development opportunities. Traditional events include Soda City Socials, picnics on the Horseshoe, a fall formal, and glow-in-the-dark capture the flag."
Associated Student Organization (ASO): student organizations to which the University has delegated certain limited authority to perform specific tasks aligned with the University's mission. These groups are required to maintain a University Advisor who is acting within the context of their university employment.
