the stage at graduation, the priority for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic
Support is to enrich the student experience at the University of South Carolina.
Through our team of experts , Student Affairs and Academic Support connects students with experiences and resources
that will help them achieve a lifetime of meaningful leadership, service, employment
and continued learning.
Every student comes to the university with unique circumstances — academic, cultural,
physical and emotional. Our initiatives are designed to provide essential resources to support the individual needs of our
students throughout their time at South Carolina.
Our services and programs are accessed online and at a number of campus locations.
All together, the division is responsible for more than 30 university offices and
manages dozens of facilities across campus.

The Daily Gamecock wins 26 state awards, earns prestigious Pacemaker
The Daily Gamecock was recognized by the South Carolina Press Association for 11 first-place awards, including General Excellence, Website, Newsletter, Page One Design and a variety of multimedia categories, as well as 15 second- and third-place awards. The paper also received an Online Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press, recognizing overall excellence in the top student media produced during a particular school year.
